Once Savvushka, a baby acorn, breaks off from his maternal branch, he decides to embark on a risky journey to a distant mountain to fulfill his dream of baking root there and growing into a mighty oak tree. Along the way, Savvushka meets different inhabitants of the forest, learns how to socialize, make friends, communicate, and stand up for his dream. And he is not alone in this. His old friend, Tikhomir the Cat, a mentor, sage, and also a mage, helps him overcome many hardships and obstacles along the way. Savvushka has to traverse a huge storm, a turbulent stream, and struggles with doubts and fears before finally reaching his final destination. Standing on the very top of the mountain, having achieved his dream and beaten all the challenges, Savvushka realizes how brave, outgoing, and independent he has become. Now it is time for him to find a new dream.
