The world’s top-grossing animation, Ne Zha 2, will be screened in Tehran as part of the second season of the “Watch and Review” film event at Book Garden on October 29–30, 2025.
According to IBland’s news, in an exciting move for animation fans, Ne Zha 2, the highest-grossing film of 2025 and the most successful animated movie in history, will be screened in Tehran.
The screening will take place on October 29 and 30 at Book Garden Cinema Complex, as part of the second season of the “Watch and Review” event series.
Double Feature: Ne Zha 1 and Ne Zha 2
Across two consecutive nights, audiences will enjoy both Ne Zha 1 and Ne Zha 2, followed by an in-depth discussion and critical review session.
Screenings are scheduled for 7:00 PM in Hall 8 of the Book Garden’s cinema center.
About the Director: Yang Yu (Jiaozi)
Yang Yu, also known as Jiaozi, is the Chinese director and animator behind the Ne Zha franchise.
His first film, Ne Zha (2019), became an international sensation, while Ne Zha 2 (2025) has broken global box office records, holding the titles of “Highest-Grossing Film of 2025” and “Highest-Grossing Animated Film of All Time.”
About the “Watch and Review” Event Series
The “Watch and Review” program features curated screenings of top global films and animations, followed by expert-led discussion panels.
The first season spotlighted works by Hayao Miyazaki, while this second edition focuses on Ne Zha 1 and Ne Zha 2.
